AAHA Phoenix 2009 Registration Information
Four Easy Ways to Register
- Online registration closed March 16, 2009.
- Call AAHA’s Member Service Center at 800/883-6301 or 303/986-2800 between 7:00 am and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday.*
- Print and complete the registration form and fax to 303/986-1700. The fax line is open 24 hours a day.*
- Print and complete the registration form and mail to AAHA Phoenix 2009, AAHA, PO Box 172108, Denver, CO 80217-2108.*
* All phone, fax and mail registrations must be received no later than March 19th, 2009, to be processed as a pre-registration and to ensure that a packet is ready for you in Phoenix. Registrations received after March 19, 2009 will be registered on-site in Phoenix.
Why do we want your email address?
When we have your email address, we can better communicate with you regarding changes or other important information about the conference. We do occasionally send out email bulletins regarding other AAHA products and services. If you receive one of these emails, you will have the opportunity to opt out.
Confirmations
All complete, paid registrations will be processed within five business days of receipt. A printed confirmation of all items will be mailed to you. You will receive an immediate confirmation of your registration via email. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact the AAHA Member Service Center at 800/883-6301. Please check your confirmation carefully and advise us immediately of any changes. Please make any changes by March 16, 2009.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you cancel your registration by March 2 by mail or phone, you will be given a full refund. Cancellations made after this date will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be given on no-shows or cancellations made on or after March 5. Specialty group registrations cannot be exchanged or cancelled after March 5.
Practice Registration
Your practice can send as many as four individuals to the conference for a reduced rate. The person attending on Thursday should be listed first and so on. The practice will receive one copy of the conference proceedings. Registrants can pick up badges and one copy of the proceedings each morning at the Registration Area and drop them off each evening for the next day's participant.
Your CE Credits
You will receive one Continuing Education unit for each session you attend and two CE credits for time spent in the Exhibit Hall. Please note that some states and provinces may not accept management seminars or Exhibit Hall time for CE credit. Check with the board of veterinary medicine in your state or province for specific information. Your CE certificate will be included in your onsite registration packet.
Name Badges
AAHA will issue all meeting attendees a name badge. This will be your admission to the Exhibit Hall and sessions. You must wear your badge at all times during the meeting. No one will be admitted to sessions or the Exhibit Hall without a badge.
Free Guest Admission
You may obtain complimentary badges for your guests for admission to the Exhibit Hall. Please request your guest badges on your registration form.
Special Needs
If you have special needs, please mark the "Special Needs" section on your registration form, and AAHA will contact you for further information.
Room Moderators Needed!
We have opportunities available to moderate sessions at AAHA Phoenix 2009. Not only will you be able to meet some of the top veterinarians in your field, but you will also be able to recoup some of your registration fees. As a moderator, you will introduce the speaker, make sure the sessions start and end on time, deliver announcements and ensure that the sessions run smoothly. Based on availability, room moderators may select the track(s) they wish to moderate.
