Vetstreet setup is fast and easy. Plus, once you get started with Vetstreet, you're ready to add on automatic reminder postcards and pet ID cards.

Email Communications

Vetstreet's automatic emails are sent from the veterinary practice's own email address. The service includes:

  • Reminders for services and vaccines
  • Pet birthday emails (link to cute animated e-cards for no extra charge!)
  • Seasonal pet health tips
  • Email alerts set up by client to help keep track of pets' medication schedules and other events

Four targeted email campaigns are also included in the yearly service. Practices use these to send messages of their own choosing to reach all clients or a specific group (e.g. only those clients who currently own senior dogs). Vetstreet's email reminders are truly automatic, so there's no need for setup, and you never need to run reports or upload data. Just add your clients' email addresses to their records and continue using your practice management software like you usually do--Vetstreet takes care of the rest!

 

 

Pet Portals

Pet Portals are individual, private pet health websites for each client with an email address on file at your practice. While pet owners go to your practice's website for information about services, doctors, and business hours, they use their Pet Portals to find specific information on their own pets' health. Even when your practice is closed, clients can use their Pet Portals to request prescription and food refills, keep track of their pets' exam and vaccination status, request appointments, and more. Pet Portals are created automatically. All your staff needs to do is collect client email addresses and add them to your practice management software. You never need to run reports or keep track of passwords. Vetstreet does all the work, but your practice gets all the credit! Pet Portals are recommended by AAHA!

 

Pet Health Articles

Vetstreet is also a convenient, centralized source for trusted pet health articles. Each Pet Portal includes a complete pet health education database, with articles developed and reviewed by veterinary professionals. Each patient's Pet Portal page displays articles geared to the age and species of the individual pet. Seasonally appropriate articles (e.g. dental, senior care, paraiste control, etc.) are added throughout the year. All Vetstreet's health information is pro-veterinarian, pro-pet owner and pro-healthy pets--and they never discuss specific protocol.

 

Home Delivery

Compete with Internet pharmacies--the fast and easy way! With Vetstreet's home delivery system, clients request prescription and food refills--and order retails items--from your website or from within their Pet Portals. Vetstreet handles the credit card transactions, inventory, storage and shipping automatically. You stay in control by using a simple interface to approve or deny prescription refill requests, monitor sales activity, report on compliance, and choose which products and prescriptions are sold.

Free Websites

Sign up for Vetstreet's services and get a website--for free! Websites are available in a variety of different designs and color schemes. Personalize your website with staff bios, service descriptions, photos and your logo. Include downloadable forms (e.g. New Client and Admissions).

Simple, Fast Setup

Getting started with Vetstreet is quick and easy! Installation typically takes around an hour--fifteen minutes of your time and another 45 minutes on a single workstation to complete. Because you can continue to use your practice's other workstations during installation, disruption to your workday is minimal. Vetstreet is built to integrate seamlessly into a practice's routine. If staff members have ever answered an email and shopped online, they have the basic skills they'll need to get started with Vetstreet. Training is a simple series of online presentations 3 to 5 minutes in length. Here's what you need to get started:

  • High-speed Internet connection on at least one workstation
  • Compatible practice management software (ALIS-VET, AVImark, Britton's Wise, ClienTrax, Cornerstone, DVM Manager, ImproMed Infinitey, IntraVet or Vetech)
